Dr. Richard Thompson

Dr. Richard Thompson, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He attended medical school at The University of Minnesota. His internship and residency were both at the University of Southern California, where he served in various capacities, including adult service, general urology, and renal service. He was Assistant Professor of Urology at the U.S.C. Medical Center. In addition, he has served as a Special Fellow in Urology Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
He is a member of various professional societies, including the Society of University Urologist, the New York Section of the American Urological Society and is a member of the American Urological Association. He has been extensively published in professional journals. He introduced Laparoscopic urology surgery to Austin in 1991. Dr. Thompson is affiliated with all major hospitals in Austin.

Dr. Rachel Walker

Dr. Rachel Walker earned her medical degree at the University of Nebraska in 1996. She was a resident urologist until 2002 at the University of Iowa Hospital and clinics. She was a urologic surgeon at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia until 2005. She was a Urologic Surgeon at the Trinity Clinic Urologic Institute & Continence Center in Tyler, Texas.
She has written extensively about female incontinence, use of MRI imaging as a diagnostic tool regarding female incontinence, as well as treatment options for prostate cancer. Dr. Walker is certified by the American Board of Urology. She has affiliations with the American Urological Association, Society of Women in Urology, The South Central Section of the AUA, the Texas Medical Association and Travis County Medical Society.

Dr. Eric Parker

Dr. Eric Parker was raised in Houston, TX. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and returned to Texas to attend medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Parker completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio.
Dr. Parker enjoys treating both men and women. He appreciates working with patients and their families through the diagnosis and treatment of urologic cancers and other disorders. He understands that some urologic conditions, especially stone disorders, can be very debilitating for patients and makes it a priority to tailor an appropriate treatment plan for the individual patient.
His patient care philosophy is that of a Team Approach. He believes the combination of his expertise, participation by the patient and the patient’s family, and collaboration with the primary care physician are invaluable for a successful outcome.
